Mar. 23rd, 2026 06:17 pmHappy Covidversary to me! It's been six years now; the symptoms have not really gotten better (save for what's slightly ameliorated with famotidine+cetirizine).
Had a colonoscopy - and while they didn't find anything cancerous, I get to do it again in three years. The prep is way, way worse than the procedure itself; low-fiber diets are no fun at all, nor is drinking sodium bicarbonate goo. I do wonder if the multiple COVID infections (at least six, I think) have done anything on a permanent basis to my GI system; I've had chronic tummy issues since then - although the famotidine does help with that most of the time.
I am hoping Elwood will chill out as he gets older and less puppy-ish; I've been taking care of him by myself while weezyl is off on the joco cruise, and it can be severely taxing.
