When I was a little kid, I wanted to be a scientist - and later I wanted specifically to be a nuclear physicist. And then 6th grade hit, my undiagnosed ADD helped my grades tank, and I've been somewhat adrift ever since. Good thing computers were intriguing enough to hold my interest for a couple of decades, and that they were an employable skill.
